Most everyone knows about The Department of Homeland Security's report warning about "Rightwing Extremism". This report was distributed to federal, state and local law enforcement officials, on 4-7-09. MSM is starting to cover this.

Napolitano stands by controversial report
The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias.
A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.

... Savage teamed up with the Thomas More Law Center of Ann Arbor, Mich., to file a lawsuit against Napolitano over the report.
"It is a civil rights action brought under the First and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution, challenging the policy, practice, and custom of the United States Government that targets for disfavored treatment those individuals and groups that are considered to be 'rightwing extremists,'" the complaint said.
According to the federal government, characteristics of members of the suspect group of people include those who:
Oppose restrictions on firearms
Oppose lax immigration
Oppose the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs
Oppose continuation of free trade agreements
Oppose same-sex marriage
Has paraonia of foreign regimes
Fear Communist regimes
Oppose one world government
Bemoan the decline of U.S. stature in the world
Is upset with the loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India
The case seeks a declaration that the DHS policy violates the First and Fifth Amendments, a court order permanently enjoining the policy and its application to the plaintiffs' speech and other activities, and the award of reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

The report needs to be recalled, the person who oversaw its production reassigned or fired and the total amount of money spent on the project--from staff time to production costs to the postage used to mail it--needs to be returned to the U.S. Treasury out of the budget of the Office of the Secretary of Homeland Security. As we have been told time and again, it is no small matter when the U.S. government, as an official matter, questions someone's loyalty. The consequences for this catastrophic misuse of taxpayer dollars needs to be severe for all those involved. ...

Ummm...you all get that this describes about half of America, right? While they'd LOVE for us to think that BO has a "mandate" because of his "landslide" victory, the reality is that he won just slightly more than half the vote. And many of them are having buyer's remorse. I'd LOVE to see how they intend to enforce this. In it's usual fashion, this administration has not thought this through. Who's gonna cite us? What's the charge? How can you possibly get this through the court system---because everybody and their mother is going to appeal any "citation". The backlog will be years long. And the judges will have to find in the citizens' favor because of that little sheet of paper called the Constitution. I know local judges. They take their jobs and the Constitution very seriously.
In short, this is just not possible. Still needs to be addressed an removed from the books, however, and PRONTO!
Not surprising that the 'Bill Ayres Gang' would be paranoid about terrorists once 'they themselves' become the even worse than the very government they so despised when it was someone else.
Their fate worse than hell may just turn out to be having to fear someone may crop up as wicked and evil as themselves, - - maybe even some that would actually go as far as to tell children to kill their own parents.

As far as Janet Napolitano's DHS is concerned, if you are pro-life or believe in strict enforcement of our immigration laws, or if you attended one of those TEA parties, you're the same as a neo-Nazi, or a member of the KKK.
